Seabeck Conference Center has roots from the 19th century, when Seabeck flourished as a mill town and shipyard, until a fire in 1886 ended the town's promise. In 1914, the town and surrounding land was purchased and the Conference Center was founded.

While the Center focuses on the future and providing the best possible experience for guests, its unique history informs a sense of community stewardship.
